Conference Venue

The conference will be held at ENSTA ParisTech on the campus of École polytechnique in Palaiseau, France, which is approximately 25 km to the south of Paris.

IMPORTANT NOTICE You need to have an official ID to access ENSTA ParisTech and receive the conference badge!

Getting to the venue

You can get more information on how to reach the main ENSTA ParisTech building on the websites of École polytechnique and ENSTA ParisTech.

For public transportation from Paris, you can take the RER B line (Direction: St-Rémy-Lès-Chevreuses) and stop at Massy-Palaiseau and take bus 91.06B or 91.06C. The stop is called “ENSTA - Les Joncherettes”. Be careful not to take 91.06A or D! While they have the same destination, they do not stop by the school. If you’re in doubt, simply ask the driver if the bus goes to “Polytechnique”.

If you prefer walking, you can stop at Lozère and follow the directions for “École polytechnique”. However, please consider that this involves a 15 min walk and climbing approximately 300 steps through the forest.

To plan your itinerary, we suggest using vianavigo.com. The bus takes the same RATP single T-Tickets as in Paris, but reaching Massy-Palaiseau might require a higher-rate ticket, depending on where you take the train. For further information on fares, please visit the RATP website.

Hotel recommendations

We do not have specific recommandations for hotels, and it is unfortunately impossible to stay on the campus. However, we can suggest to look for hotels in the Massy area close to the Massy-Palaiseau train station (less than 10 min by bus), or in the Cité Universitaire - Porte d’Orléans - Denfert-Rochereau area of the 14th arrondissement in Paris (35-60 minutes by public transportation). This area of Paris is also well deserved by metro line 4 and gives you convenient access to multiple areas of the city.
